We are a primarily a volunteer organization so we always need volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering or fostering for DDRTX, please fill out the volunteer application form. We will contact you within a couple of days of receiving your application.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is always in need of donations. We have many options for helping use care for our dachshunds including monetary donations, sponsorships, bequests, and donations of goods like beds, blankets, kennels, leashes, and collars. We can also use volunteers, foster parents, and dog transporters, so please help any way you can!

Memorials
A DDRTX Memorial Gift will allow you to remember the life of an individual who cherished the lives of all animals or to honor the life of a companion animal.
Planned Giving
Planned Giving is an opportunity to ensure the future of DDRTX and the lives of so many animals. Planned Giving can consist of leaving DDRTX as a beneficiary in your LAST Will and Testament, Establishing a Charitable Remainder Trust for DDRTX, Donating Real Estate, Artwork, Securities, or Gifts through Life Insurance. Foster Parents Needed Desperately!!
DDRTX is in desperate need of foster homes! We try to save as many dachshunds from unsafe situations as we possibly can. Unfortunately, we do not have foster homes to house all the dogs in need. Foster placements can range anywhere from a few hours to a few months, and we are willing to work with your scheduling needs. All foster dogs are spayed, neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm free, on preventative, parasite free and temperament tested. If you are unable to foster at this time, DDRTX can still use your help! We always need people to pull dogs from kill shelters, transport dogs to vet visits, foster homes, and to their forever homes.
