After much thought and careful consideration, we have decided to postpone Dachtoberfest 2026.

Our priority is always doing what is best for our community, our volunteers, and our mission.  DDRTX has seen a significant surge in intake numbers and programming demands this year, and right now, our team needs to take a pause to focus our energy and resources where they are needed most: direct rescue operations and essential foster care to ensure every dachshund receives the love and treatment they deserve.

We are deeply grateful for your patience and support, and we look forward to bringing our community together for future events!
