PARTICIPANT RELEASE: I have read the
Race Rules and in consideration of being permitted to compete or participate in any way in Dachtoberfest, each of the undersigned, for themself, their personal representative, heirs and next of kin, plus pets:
1. Grants permission to photograph me and my pet, record our voice, reproduce our voice and picture, and use our name, voice, and picture in connection with the event and in advertising, publicity and promotional activities related to Dachtoberfest, in all media now existing or thereafter created.
2. Releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas, San Antonio Charro Association, or the City Of San Antonio, and/or its owner company, affiliates, officers, agents, directors, employees, licensees, volunteers, sponsors, and invitees, including vendors, for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury arising out of or related to my participation in the event, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.
3. Assumes full responsibility for any risk or bodily injury, death, or property damage arising out of or related to the event, whether caused by the negligence of releasees or otherwise.
4. Agrees that this is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of Texas. If any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, not withstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
