I am a fun loving young lady who loves lap time and playing outside. My toys keep my busy, I like squeeky toys and chew toys and plush toys, who am I kidding I love them all!! My all time favorite thing is to sit in your lap and get all the love from my foster family.  I get along just fine with all my foster siblings even the bigger dogs, it did take me a day to warm up to them, I was a little scared at first.  I am learning all sorts of new things, I am sleeping all night in my crate, I saw a doggie door and figured out how to come in all by myself,  so I learn super quick.  The one thing I am working on is learning how to eat a little slower and try to not take my siblings food.  It is a little hard to trust I will be fed when I had to find food for myself for so long.  I am learning that my family will keep me happy and fed and I don’t have to worry about my next meal anymore.  If you have room for a beautiful girl that is smart and ready for a forever family, I am ready to meet you!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
