I am waiting to meet my forever family.  I spent some time traveling the neighborhood with my sister but I am ready to settle down.  I am a little timid at first, but once I get to know you and my surroundings I am very comfortable.  It usually takes me about 2 days to settle in and then I am quite happy.  I am very smart, and learn new things very quickly.  I sleep in a crate all night but I would definitely be happy sleeping in bed with you too!  I play well with my foster siblings, I even played with the big lab sister, once I got to know her.  I learned to come in a doggie door in 1 day when I spent the night at a friends house.  I like to take a bath and go on walks. If you are looking for a beautiful, sweet girl then I am ready to go home with you !

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
