Paddy is a sweet boy. He is a 7 year old, long, lean, and strong red dachshund boy who came into our rescue on St. Patrick's Day. He likes the dogs in the foster house.  He loves people.  He gives the softest kisses and takes treats gently from your hand. Paddy is crate trained and is housebroken.  He will let you know when he needs to go out.  Paddy is also good with children. We lovingly call him Mr. Paddy Wiggle Bottom because his tail is always wagging. He loves walks, loves his crate, loves car rides.  He loves toys, loves to play tug of war, throw and get and loves to squeak and chew on them.  Paddy dances in circles for his food. He is such a good boy.

Paddy came into our rescue with a back issue.  The next day he was dragging his back legs.  DDRTX got him the back surgery he needed right away.  He did well and had hydrotherapy and cold laser treatments as well.  He also exercises in his foster home.  Paddy does everything any other dog can do, he just can't jump on or off of anything to keep his back healthy.  He has a wiggle to his walk from the surgery.  He is good with kids, but they should not pick him up.  He has been released from vet care and ready for a forever home of his own. Paddy is full of love and full of life and will just need an adopter that will be careful with his back and understand his needs.  He won't disappoint!
