Laney Fluff is a beautiful chocolate dapple long hair dachshund. She is probably about 10-12 years old, but that's just a guess. She came to DDRTX from someone that had to go into assisted living and could no longer take care of her 4 pets. She is about 11 lbs and has recently been to a groomer so her hair looks short, but her foster is letting it grow.

Laney is all about her humans, she loves to follow behind her foster parents. When they sit down, that's exactly where she wants to be, cuddled up in their arms or stretched out beside them.

Laney hasn't played with the other dogs in her fosters home, but she does like to lay beside them. She would be great being an only dog with someone that is at home a lot to give her lots of love, but she would also do great with other dogs that she could cuddle with.

Laney has several lipomas that are not a concern, they just show up well on her little body. There is one large one on her right front leg that makes her look like a body builder.

She is heartworm negative and is on heartworm prevention. She has had all her vaccinations and is microchipped. She does need a dental, which is scheduled. While waiting for her dental, she can be sponsored by clicking the sponsorship button. Dentals are not cheap and we have gotten in quite a few that have had to have them.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
