Hello. I'm Ziti, the only dachshund mixed girl puppy of my family.  Not only am I the only girl of the family, I'm also the most shy. We didn't get handled much before we came to our foster home. I do like pets and attention once I get to know you a little (or if you have treats! ) I love treats and I LOVE to run and play. Even though I'm shy, it doesn't mean I'm not a spitfire! I get the boys as good as they give! I enjoy toys and playing but I'm a little more reserved and I like to watch the action, too. I'm doggie door trained and I do great with potty pads.  My foster family is working with me daily to help me feel less afraid of people and I will need a quiet gentle family who will understand that I will need time and patience-- probably no kids would be best for me. It would also be best for me to have a doggie friend in the home to help me learn to be less scared. If you are looking for a sweet, tiny little girl, I could be your special little sweetie that had a rough start.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
