Why hello... nice of you to click into my profile and learn about me. *fur blows in the wind coming from small, portable fan nearby* My name is Óliver Le Twistamé, you can call me Oliver, and as you can see, I'm gorgeous. *shakes out fur* It's not often that you see a beautiful blonde like me among the world of rescues but my story is tragic and I, the hero, have risen above my circumstances. *strikes heroic pose*

I once lived in a home with an elder human with whom I enjoyed the finer things in life, things I still enjoy to this day: brushing my hair, car rides, lap time, the wind in my hair, dinosaur chewies, and cuddles.... when the worst happened. IVDD struck and I could no longer walk. My elder human couldn't care for me so my vet took me in and gave me to my foster family who vowed to help me and find me a perfect home. *looks wistfully into distance, fur blows gently in fan set up for effect*

Though I was told that walking would never be possible again, I defied that notion down to my bones. *strikes manly pose and flexes chest muscles* I fought the odds and can use both a wheelchair and my own sheer will to walk on my own now! *stands on all four legs and nods for fan to be turn on high, fur billows in the wind setting off his features... he looks like the cover of a book about breeding dachshunds*

Today, at my foster family's home, I enjoy nosing around the garden, barking at, then meeting any newcomers, making friends, and eating all kinds of treats and healthy foods, as I'm not particular picky. *proud, secretive smirk* I'm looking for a family, with or without respectful children, that needs a devilishly handsome rake to play with, love on, and generally admire the beauty of. I'm also happy to share my domain with other canine companions so long as no one sees fit to ruin my pretty face or mess up my fur or anything... I'm not exactly made for wrestling. *looks around nervously*

All of this perfection comes with one price: after my IVDD I was left unable to potty on my own. Every 4-5 hours I need a simple emptying of my bladder by my family. It's easy and quick and my foster mom will teach you.... a small price to pay for having me in your life daily, I would say. Beyond that, I'm too free of a spirit to be kept in a cage *puffs up chest* and I need to be admired often by humans and can't be left to my own devices for long or I wither without compliments and companionship-- I'm not the type to be left alone locked in prison, I must be celebrated! *gazes at you adoringly*

All in all, I'm everything you've ever dreamed of.... but can you handle an amazing dog like me in your life? Will my good looks be too much? Can you imagine me being your constant companion? Put your application in today and find out now.
