Chewy came to our rescue due to no fault of his own.  He needs someone to be home a lot and his previous home couldn't give him that.

 Chewy is  12 year old that acts like a distinguished gentleman most of the time, quite polite with humans and other dogs, but occasionally succumbs to burst of energy. He makes all the other dogs jealous by showing off how fast his legs can carry him around - zooming from room to room and all around the house. After a hard day of naps, the occasional toy and watching over his house, Chewy likes to relax with a good cuddle with his human. He isn't afraid to walk right over his foster siblings to plop down and claim the best spot! Chewy loves to ride in the car.  He wants to go with you where every you go.  He jumps right in, ready to go!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
