Nebula came to DDRTX from Austin ACS with three grown puppies.  We do not know her back story, but she is safe in the loving care of her foster family.  "Nebbie" is a sweet, shy, young, adult, tri-colored dapple.  Nebula had her spay surgery and is up to date on all her vaccinations.

She is still learning what it means to be in the comfort of a home with loving humans.  She just started realizing how to play with toys and her foster siblings – large dogs.  While she does really well on a harness and leash, she is still learning potty training.  She will need patience and encouragement from her humans.  She sleeps well in her own kennel but would much rather be cuddled next to her person.

Nebbie is starting to express her inner puppy!  She is learning that toys can be fun, but hasn’t quite figured out that not everything is a toy!  She will follow you around and in typical dachshund fashion, will explore and show her curiosity.  One of Nebula’s favorite things is cuddles and belly rubs and will reward you with a loving stare and kisses.  She likes to burrow under blankets on the couch and loves to take naps with her foster mom!

Nebbie will need patience and unconditional love from her new parents.  She wants to please and be rewarded with affection.  This gorgeous girl simply wants to be loved!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
