Liza is a playful little girl who likes to spend her time chasing her foster brother and sister.  She plays hard and sleeps hard too.  Her favorite snuggle locations are her foster sister's tummy and her foster Dad's tummy.  Liza will give you no warning of her naps, she will just run over and pass out.  Liza likes to explore the backyard and is quite the escape artist.  She would do best in a home with a yard and fence in tip-top shape.  Liza is very toy oriented and prefers the ones larger than herself.  She is very vocal when she plays and will always finish a play session with a loud yawn.  Liza has mastered the potty-pad at 6 weeks old and is also quite good at letting you know when the water bowl is empty.  Liza would do best in a home with other dogs due to her preference to play with dogs rather than humans.  Humans are reserved for cuddling and nibbles.  If you are looking for a curious girl with a drive to snuggle and the cutest jowls you've ever seen, Liza is the girl for you.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
