Oreo is a special little boy. The only boy of this dessert bunch, he truly is a sweet, big tough guy. He’s also super inquisitive, fearless, and tries new things with gusto. He’s like that chubby, outgoing frat boy who’s the first to jump in the pool in winter. Oreo also has the biggest heart. He is a lover, a cuddler and is especially close to his momma. Oreo has the longest legs, a thick normal body and the biggest head. He would be a great pup for any household.

Honey Pie is the momma of the dessert bunch. She is the size of a large standard dachshund at 23 lbs. She has a hound face, long body, longer than usual dachshund legs and a curly tail. Clearly a mix of many breeds, she is all heart and has done an amazing job raising her puppies with love.

Oreo isn't available for adoption just yet. He will need another round of puppy shots first. If you would like to help this family, please consider sponsorship.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
