Pamela is a long legged little lady that loves to play.  She will need a home with another dog or considerate children to play with.  Toys are fun and she could probably learn how to play fetch with the right training.  She has a very sweet disposition and gets along with all people, dogs, and cats.  She is very alert and will let you know when anyone comes around.  Her ears are not dachshund but they make her so darned cute you can't resist her.  One of her favorite places is outside when it is sunny.

Pamela came to us from the shelter.  She was hit by a car and has a broken pelvis.  She has been on medications to help and strict crate rest.  She has been cleared by the veterinarian for adoption!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
