"OK, who brought the dog?" -Louis Tully, "Ghostbusters" If you've got an ancient God causing havoc in your fridge or a giant marshmallow man in your city, your best bet is to call the Ghostbusters! Venkman, Ray, Egon, Winston, Louis, and Janine are at your service and ready to bite anything that is causing you trouble! 

Janine Melnitz, the "sass" of the Ghostbusters, is the only little girl in The Ghostbusters! Another quieter thinker in the group, Janine is a sweet, gentle puppy who likes to play with toys, lick people, run through the yard, and cuddle... but with the bonus that half of both her eyes are blue like Winston! A very good puppy girl indeed!  Janine is pretty good with potty pads and likes to potty in the grass, enjoys the company of other dogs, and loves to eat. Toys are a great addition to her life but people can be the best toys... especially those GENTLE kid-shaped ones! Janine is really starting to love being cuddled and will really blossom in a home with one-on-one attention and love. Janine is a tiny bit shy and quiet but is definitely ready to be loved as a family member.

Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?  How about being a sponsor or making a donation.  Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing.  Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies.  You can do this specifically for one dog with the sponsor button on their webpage or a general donation on our “How To Help” page.  Easy and quick through Pay Pal or your debit/credit card.  You generosity is sincerely appreciated by all and is tax deductable.  Need other ideas?  You'll find tons of them on the How to Help tab.  All contributions are tax deductable.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
