Hello, my name is Cinnamon! I was born while my mom was in foster care with DDRTX.

I have had a few issues along the way.  I have megaesophagus, which means that my esophagus doesn't quite open up enough to swallow my food. So I eat soft food while standing on my hind legs....not all dogs can do that by the way!!  I'm really no different than other dogs except I just need you to prepare my food, which doesn't take long, and make sure I don't eat stuff that might be around the house or in the yard. I'll never be cured of this condition but I don't need extra vet visits...so that's a plus!

Due to megaesophagus, I would not do well in a home with small children.  The risk of them wanting to give me a treat would be too great.

I'm a sweet red long-hair with natural blonde highlights.....don't mean to brag, but everyone says i'm beautiful! Seriously though, just look at my pics!

I can be independent and play by myself while my foster family is busy...but I do love some attention!   I like to go for walks and hang around outside when the weather is not so hot.

I don't do well with dogs bigger than me.  I always feel that I have to defend myself and I get anxious.

I am shy at first but I am working on my social skills.  I love my foster mom but could learn to love another.

If you think we would make a good team, then I would love to meet you. So just complete an application and tell them know Cinnamon sent you!
