Howdy!  My name is Brynn De Lee—get it?  I am a brindle dachshund… Brynn De Lee!  Hahaha!  I am a 4 year old sweetie who my foster family says is going to difficult to give up. You might notice that I am missing an eye, but really, it doesn’t slow me down at all and it doesn’t require any special care!  My fosters say I am super smart because I learned their daily routine really quickly. I enjoy playing with other dogs and am usually submissive unless I need to stand my ground. I love to sit and lay with people and I settle in and quiet down as soon as I am next to you.  I even enjoy kids! You know what else I love?  To bark at the birds...I guess you could call me somewhat of a guard dog. I enjoy being outside and inside but really just want to be around my people, no matter where they are.  I’m just loyal like that! I ride in a crate in the car well and I stay in a room with the rest of the dogs at night and when my fosters are away. Guess what?  I am house trained! Well, unless you make me nervous… then my bladder gets nervous, too. One thing I like to do for my people is when they get home or feed me, I will talk and dance for them. I am agreeable about baths and I like to go for walks!  Do you think you might be able to love a one-eyed gal like me?  If so, I will be waiting for your application with bated breath!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
