Hi, my name is Calypso Cafe'.  I'm an adorable young girl looking for a furever home. My foster mom says I remind her of one of those Hershey Kisses, the milk chocolate with caramel kind, because I'm a smooth chocolate and cream with a bit of dapple sprinkled on for good measure, and I'm really sweet. I enjoy car rides and enjoy trips to the pet store to meet all the friendly people. In the evening after a long day of being curious, romping and playing, I would love to snuggle up in your lap and give you some really sweet soft kisses. I'm learning to walk on a leash, my foster mom says I have great potential. I prefer to sleep in the big bed with my mom and fursisters.  I'm looking forward to my first birthday and would love to spend it (and all the rest) with YOU!!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
