In Italian, Bella means 'beautiful'--- and if you believe my foster parents, I really live up to my name!  I'm a 4 year old little black and tan girl with a huge personality. Even though my family moved away and left me in their backyard, I still trust people and really want a new family of my own. I love toys, teenagers, fancy clothes, and snuggling... I'm really agreeable about most things, however, I do not particularly like to share with other dogs, so I need to be an only-dog. I've been working hard on house training, but I lived in a backyard my whole life so I'm not entirely sure yet what is expected of me. I'm excellently crate-trained, ride in the car well, and walk well on a leash. Unfortunately I'm starting to have back issues and have tested positive to heartworms and will be undergoing treatment for both.  I'm on doxycycline for heartworm treatment in another 15 or 20 days. My back is doing better, but I am still be monitored and limited from chasing the cats along the fence….Once I'm fixed up I'll be looking for a permanent family.

Until then if you'd like to sponsor my vet care I am available for sponsorship.
