Let it go! Your resistance to my charm, that is! I'm Elsa Grace and while I'm named after the popular Snow Queen, I'm warm, cuddly, and sweet! No ice castles in my world-- the cold DOES bother me, anyway! I am about one year old and I love to play with toys, adults, kids, and other dogs. Since I'm a young dog, I like to throw my royal manners right out the window and rough house with other dogs near my own size.  I'm doggie door trained and I am doing very well with my house manners. I walk well on a leash and can be crated, though I might whine a bit when you first put me in. I am pretty outgoing at home but my foster mom calls me a homebody because when I leave the house I get nervous and shake.  I say it's because a Queen can't rule her domain if she isn't there!  Hey, I'm extremely loyal to my subjects-- I'd do anything for them!  I'm working on putting some weight on right now because when I came into rescue I obviously hadn't been eating very well. If you are looking for a sweet, gentle, funny little girl, I'm exactly what you are looking for!  Fill out an application today... don't "let it go" because I might be gone by tomorrow!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
