Well, HI!  My name is Dylan Pez, but you can call me Dill Pickle, or Dyl, or really whatever you like—I’m just agreeable like that.  I am an easy going, friendly little guy with a TON of love to give.  I enjoy kids, dogs, and women but I LOVE men most of all.  When I came to my foster home, I climbed in their toy box and started crying because I wanted to play with all the toys at one time but couldn’t figure out how!  I would LOVE to have my own toy box with lots of sturdy toys that squeak.  I love food and treats, like any self-respecting dachshund should.  I am doggie-door trained and getting more reliable every day when it comes to my house breaking.  At night I am ok with sleeping in a crate, but I would MUCH prefer to be in the big bed with my people!  I am excellent on a leash with a harness and very polite when meeting new people or dogs.  My foster mom says that I am a beautiful, easy boy with a great personality!  All I need now is a family to love!  Do you have a toy box you could share with me?

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
