Hi there!  My name is Gypsy Gem and I am a tiny, beautiful, black and tan dapple girl.  I was found wandering alone in San Antonio with an awful sore on my back.  It is believed that I was injured by over the counter flea meds which left me scarred a little, but I am all healed now.  I am a sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be around my people getting attention and giving you tons of kisses.  I am energetic, friendly, active, playful, and an all-around happy girl!  Do you have kids?  I would LOVE to have a couple kids to play with—I have energy to burn and kids sound like a lot of fun to me.  While I am not real fond of female dogs, I like males just fine!  Guess what?  I have a special talent!  I can CLIMB things!  Since I do have that talent, a yard with a chain link fence or ladders would not be good for me.  I would absolutely LOVE to climb into your heart… won’t you consider adopting me?

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
